    What are Invision Resins?

Invision® resins are based on enhanced polyolefin compositions that have been specifically designed to provide high melt strength for sheet and profile extrusion, and thermoforming applications. Sheet products produced with Invision resins may consist of smooth or textured surfaces, in low or high gloss, and in mono and multilayer co-extrusions. Invision resins can be categorized within the thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) family of polymers. These resins provide many exciting benefits in performance and appearance compared to other commonly available resins. Pending your application requirements, a range of Invision resins are available for use.

Invision offers a cost effective, light weight, or more durable and decorative replacement over competing technologies, such as ABS, Acrylic, PC and ASA plastics, as well as sheet metal, fiber glass reinforced thermosetting materials, and wood.

Durable - Invision resins offer enhanced performance over competing technologies. They are engineered to provide superior toughness and outstanding resistance to impact, weather, chemical, stain and cracking due to vibration. In addition, Invision resins are designed to perform in sub-zero and elevated temperatures.

Versatile – Invision resins are available in a range of properties and attributes. The Invision resin portfolio is fully compatible and thermoplastic, enabling the resins to be extruded in a variety of sheet and profile structures without the use of adhesive tie layers. Invision resins are suitable for forming and non forming sheet applications as well as profile extrusion. They can support the needs of a diverse range of markets and applications such as Agriculture, RV, Heavy Truck, Power Sports, Industrial Components, Personal Water Craft, Lawn and Garden and Automobiles.

Decorative – The brilliant qualities of Invision resins improve the appearance of conventional substrate materials by providing a high gloss, Class "A" display, suitable for a variety of markets and applications. Through the use of co-extrusion, decorative cap layers can be co-extruded to provide sheet and profiles with a paint-like appearance. Gloss and clarity is maintained through subsequent heating and thermoforming processes. Invision resins also readily accept lamination of other decorative films by standard lamination methods, or can be painted by normal painting processes.

Our Invision portfolio includes a broad range of TPO materials and cap stock resins in order to provide the ultimate flexibility in tailoring to your most demanding sheet, profile and thermoforming application requirements.
